Bountiful Home Plans Holiday Festivities

October 13, 2021 by Spy Desk

Bountiful Home will host a series of special events throughout November to celebrate the holiday season. The festivities will begin the weekend of November 5th – 7th with special shopping days to benefit Talbot Hospice. The store will be fully decorated for the holidays, with a bountiful selection of holiday décor and gift ideas. Saturday, November 6th will be a special “sip and shop” day with complimentary champagne and nibbles. Twenty percent of all sales during the holiday kick-off weekend will be donated to Talbot Hospice. There will also be a raffle for a $500 Bountiful gift card with all proceeds benefiting Talbot Hospice. Anyone who visits the store may enter a door prize drawing for one of four fabulous and giftable prizes, including an Annie Selke robe, Christmas fragrance set from LAFCO, a box of premium chocolates, and a $100 gift certificate to Bountiful Framing.

On November 18th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Bountiful will host a trunk show and talk with Sarah Eastman, gemologist and founder of Revival Jewels. Eastman sources estate and antique jewelry from all over the world to curate a collection that is both beautifully made and highly wearable. Eastman’s talk will highlight the ways in which jewelry is a perfect reflection of the culture, technology, and economy of the time in which it was created. She will also discuss her sourcing process, jewelry trends through history, and will take audience questions. “Estate jewelry offers incredible value for pieces that are of exceptional quality with a rich history,” said Eastman. “It’s a joy to help people discover just how special estate and antique jewelry really is.” The trunk show will continue during Bountiful’s regular store hours of 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on November 19th.

New this year, Bountiful Home will offer personal shopping services from November 4th – 28th. A Bountiful associate will assist customers with choosing the perfect gifts for everyone on their list. Gift wrapping with gold ribbon and a festive accoutrement will also be provided for any gifts purchased at Bountiful. “We are so excited to offer this new service and just completely take the stress out of holiday shopping,” said Jamie Merida, owner of Bountiful Home. “There are so many supply chain issues and delivery delays with online shopping these days, and it can really take the fun out of the holidays. The personal shopping service gives you the comfort of knowing you’ve found fabulous gifts that you’ll definitely have in time for the holidays, and you don’t even have to wrap them!” There is no charge for the personal shopping service, but an appointment is required. Appointments can be made by calling the store at 410.819.8666.

Bountiful will also be releasing its annual gift guide via social media in mid-November. The gift guide includes unique items in stock at Bountiful Home at a variety of price points.

Finally, Jamie Merida Interiors, the award-winning interior design studio located within Bountiful Home, will be publishing a new design project that was photographed with traditional Christmas décor. The project will be published in The Cottage Journal and Northern Virginia Magazine and will then be posted at JamieMerida.com.

Bountiful Launches Full-Service Kitchen & Bath Design Center

August 18, 2021 by Spy Desk

The Bountiful family of brands is expanding again with the launch of a full-service kitchen and bath design center. Bountiful Kitchens & Baths is a one-stop destination for every aspect of kitchen and bathroom remodeling, including design, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, flooring, lighting, and more. Bountiful also offers installation, project management, and fully custom-built designs.

As part of the expansion, Bountiful has added two key team members to its team of designers: Kevin Kiley and Oras Al-Bakry. Kiley has 18years of kitchen and bath installation, project management, and design experience. “This work is in my blood,” Kiley said. “I grew up in my family’s kitchen and bath business and did installations through high school before getting into project management and design.” Kiley will play the lead role in ensuring clients’ kitchens and bathrooms meet all of their functional requirements and that each project is executed smoothly.

Al-Bakry will assist with design, estimating, creating 3D renderings, and coordinating logistics. She has been in the design industry since 2019 and holds a degree in Architecture and Interior Design from Anne Arundel Community College. Al-Bakry said, “I love being able to show clients what their dream kitchen or bathroom will look like, then helping make that dream become a reality.”

The aesthetic aspect of each design will be supported by interior designers from the company’s award-winning design studio, Jamie Merida Interiors.

“Opening a kitchen and bath design center was a natural next step for us,” said Jamie Merida, owner of Bountiful Home, Bountiful Flooring, and the Jamie Merida Interiors design studio. “Our interior designers have always played a role in kitchen and bath design for our clients. Now we’ve added a phenomenal kitchen and bath designer to our team who brings decades of experience to perfecting and executing all of the functional details.”

The Bountiful kitchen and bath design center will carry top brands of cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures, lighting, and more. Bountiful also has the capability to provide fully custom kitchens and bathrooms, including custom-built cabinetry.

“There are so many important details when it comes to functionality, especially in kitchens,” said Kiley. “Creating a space that’s beautiful is just one half of the equation. It also has to function perfectly for the client’s lifestyle.”

Customers can find the new kitchen and bath design center within Bountiful Flooring at 806 Goldsborough Street in Easton, Maryland. The design center is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Appointments can be made by calling 410.819.8666.

Bountiful Home to Host Blue Moon Sale August 21st and 22nd

August 4, 2021 by Spy Desk

Bountiful Home has announced the 2021 dates for its annual “Blue Moon” sale. The sale will take place August 21st and 22nd at Bountiful Home, located at 803 Goldsborough Street in Easton, Maryland. The sale will begin at 9:00 a.m. each day and end at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21stand 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22nd.

Building upon several years of this hugely popular event, everything both inside and outside the store will be discounted at 50% off. All inventory inside the store, including furniture, gifts, home accents, antiques, and one-of-a-kind items will be discounted. There will also be large tents outside featuring a huge selection of new inventory, overstocks, floor samples, and end-of-season items. The tents will also feature items that shoppers aren’t usually able to buy, such as flooring remnants, bolts of upholstery and home fabrics, and other fun surprises.

Bountiful will continue to implement some of the changes that were put in place for last year’s event in response to the coronavirus pandemic. There will be multiple checkout stations outside and in the store to avoid large groups congregating in one area. Hand sanitizer will also be available throughout the sale. Although masks are no longer required, Bountiful respectfully requests that anyone who is not vaccinated wear a mask for their own safety as well as the safety of other customers and staff.

“We just got back from the High Point furniture market and the Atlanta gift markets where we ordered so many fabulous new things for the sale,” said Jamie Merida, owner of Bountiful Home. “We always have a lot of fun gearing up for this event. Every year, we work with our favorite vendors to make sure we have plenty of fresh inventory and exciting surprises for our guests.”

Bountiful Flooring, which is also located in the same building, is also participating in the sale. It will be offering end-of-season rugs and carpet and tile remnants at 50% off. In addition, new orders written during the sale will be discounted by 20%.

Parking for the sale will be available at The Country School, just across from Bountiful Home on Goldsborough Street.

To learn more about the Blue Moon sale, please call Bountiful Home at 410.819.8666 or visit the Jamie Merida-Bountiful Facebook page.
