The Talbot Family Network as the Local Management Board for Talbot County is holding a Community Forum to inform Talbot County citizens about the Community Needs Assessment and Planning process currently underway, and to receive community input.
The mission of the Talbot Family Network is, through collaboration with public and private entities, to identify and develop support systems for a safe, healthy, and caring community for all Talbot County children and families.
The Talbot Family Network is gathering public input on issues impacting children, youth and families in Talbot County and is specifically interested in hearing public input on the Governor’s Four Strategic Goals – Disconnected Youth (between the ages of 16-24 who are neither working nor in school), Youth Homelessness, Childhood Hunger and the Impact of Incarceration on Children, Families and Communities.
The Community Forum will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at 7pm at the Talbot County Board of Education, 12 Magnolia St., Easton, MD. For more information please call Jan Willis at 410-310-5584 or email [email protected].
