Screen Shot 2015-05-15 at 9.20.05 AMOxford, Maryland. Oxford Bellevue Ferry. Love this Oxford Ferry Postcard from the Talbot Historical Society archives! Can anyone identify the make and year of these cars? Maybe the late 1940’s, early 1950’s? Wonder what year they retired this smaller ferry for the one they have now?

The car in the rear looks like a 1947 Chevrolet. Perhaps, the car in front is a Pontiac 1947 or 1948. I used to commute on this ferry to work. I new Mr. Bill Benson. It was a lovely ride .
