Baseball was introduced to Talbot County, Maryland in 1867! The first game was played in a field on Point Road, Easton. Facts:”Easton Album” by Norman Harrington 1983. This recently scanned in c. 1930 damaged glass negative image is of the Easton, Maryland ballpark that was between Bay Street and Federal Street. Enjoy this early view of Easton’s Federal Ball Park!
