This H. Robins Hollyday aerial photograph is of the original Talbot Country Club which was founded in 1910 on what is now Old Country Club Road. The 55.96 acres pictured here were part of the 485 acre farm named Llandaff on the PeachBlossom River that was owned by John and May Robinson. The land was first leased to and then bought by the Country Club. Facts: “Talbot Country Club, The First One Hundred Years”. 2010 by C. William Jones. The small 1868 cottage bottom left was moved down to the Peach Blossom waterfront in 1940 and in 2004 was moved again to a site by Llandaff’s 1868 barn.
