This photograph, found in the Talbot Historical Society Collection, possibly shows Richard Lloyd Tilghman in a sink box in the Eye River around 1910 to 1920. The six cast iron “wing ducks” are being used to ballast the sink box to water level. The Talbot Historical Society is open! Our hours are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. Our exhibit and office space is located in downtown Easton at 25 S. Washington Street.
