The Easton Emergency Hospital , later named the Memorial Hospital at Easton, opened January 28,1907 in the upper two floors of the South Washington Street Building that was previously the Hotel Norris. Crackerjacks and Silver Linings now occupy the downstairs of this building. When it opened there were 34 beds and it remained Easton, Maryland’s Hospital until a new 52 bed hospital was built and dedicated November 23, 1915 at the Memorial Hospital at Easton’s present location. Silver linings has not been in the building for two years. Wyenew, a business in Easton, occupies and works hard in the space. It’s a great store.
