This part of Easton, Maryland looked so different in 1969!! There were so many wide open spaces back then!! Saints Peter and Paul Elementary and High School were located on the corner of High Street and Choptank Ave. and now it’s just the Elementary School since the new church and Saints Peter and Paul High School complex have been built at the south end of Easton. The motel with the pool off of High Street has been replaced by the Hampton Inn. Wasn’t there a restaurant somewhere near the north end of that motel? There was no Idlewild Avenue or Bayleigh Chase at that time!! Dutchman’s Lane is in the far distance to the south!!
