Talbot Historical Society Project Rewind: Standing at Attention on Harrison Street

August 11, 2023 by Talbot Historical Society

Share

Robert ( Bob) Horner graduated from Easton High School in 1960 and owned the H & G Restaurant for many years! His son Tyler Horner shared his Dad’s c 1965 or 1966 Easton, Maryland National Guard troop picture with the Talbot Historical Society this week. We are hoping to have some identifications made of these soldiers? Maybe you can help? Bob Horner is in the front row, left center. Tyler also recognizes Billy Cheezum and Ron Morris. Identified by Cathy Hill are front row far left, Moorhead Vermilye and Jim Latham, second from the right in the next to last row. The picture was taken in front of the old Harrison Street armory which is now Easton’s Waterfowl Festival Building. A special thanks to Tyler Horner for sharing this historic picture!
