Baseball Season is back and the Orioles are winning! Trappe, Maryland’s Frank “Home Run” Baker was born March 13, 1886 and died June 28,1963. Frank played a third baseman in Major League Baseball from 1908 to 1922 for the Philadelphia Athletics and the New York Yankees. This Talbot Historical Society Laird Wise Collection photo is of Frank “Home Run” Baker’s 1910 Athletics team when they were the American League Champions.
