Project Rewind-Talbot County: Easton, Md. Marlboro Ave. and Glebe Rd. The Bowling Alley is to the left. This shopping area at this time also included Howard’s Furniture and the A&P. Does anyone remember when these buildings were built? Nine pins, or bowling, was first played in the streets. It was so prevalent in 1722 in Easton the Talbot commissioners forbade tavern owners from putting pins out for bowling when the Court was sitting.
