The competition will be hot – and lots of fun – in the Easton Middle School gym starting at 7 pm on Friday, June 5.
The first ever Talbot MENTORnament™ will showcase four teams of adults and four teams of middle school kids competing to answer questions on categories ranging from sports to music to local highlights as the clock ticks down! Using a fast moving and funny game show format, MENTORnament™ will include Pictionary-type segments and lightning rounds with lots of questions of local interest.
Many of the competitors in this first MENTORnament™ will themselves be mentees or mentors associated with Talbot Mentors, Inc., a local non-profit in its 19th year of matching caring, trustworthy adults with at-risk youngsters in long-term relationships that provide friendship, guidance and role models to the kids. The event benefits Talbot Mentors. Audience members can cheer on their favorite adult and middle school teams. Prizes will be awarded to the teams winning their rounds and to the grand prize winner. Audience members may also compete to answer trivia questions for prizes during the event. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase before, during and after the event.
Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5 for adults and $2 for kids.
