Can you recognize the Talbot County streetscape below? We bet you can. Send your answer to [email protected]. The Spy Agents who got it right last week are listed below.
Week 9 brought us a number of Spy Agents who readily recognized the old Talbot County Jail in Easton.
Spy agent Carolyn Jaffe reported “That’s the Talbot County Jail – on Washington St., Easton, on the north side of the Court House. Glad to say Polly Shannahan and others said, “NO! You can’t tear that down! It’s a historic landmark!” It got a super renovation, and is now the home of the State’s Attorney, I do believe.”
And from Walt Johnson “Hmmm…. Maybe the old Talbot County Jail?”
Agent Glenn Baker said “It’s the 1881 Jail next to the courthouse in Easton. The sheriff and his family also lived here.”
Claiborne’s Special Agent Barbara Reisert said “That is a photo of the old jailhouse located just behind the courthouse in Easton.”
And from Duke Blythe, simply – “Talbot County Jail. 1920′s?”
Spy agent Ellicott McConnell was the last in our round-up of winners, who said “The old County Jail, when it was also a home for the County Sheriff and family.”
