The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum is introducing the third in a series of Tilghman Island holiday ornaments. The inaugural design in 2014 featured the Knapps Narrows Bridge, and last year’s ornament was of the Lee House where the museum is located. The 2016 ornament honors the late William E. Cummings and his workboat, the Zaca.
The pewter ornament, which is made in Easton by Salisbury Pewter, can be purchased for $20 at the Museum. There is also a limited supply of the 2015 ornament available.
The Museum is dedicated to the documentation and preservation of the history, traditions, heritage and culture of Tilghman Island. All proceeds from the sales of these pewter ornaments support the programs of the Museum.
