The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum will once again be turned into a winter wonderland celebrating the wonder of “Christmas at the Museum.” The popular train garden, complete with mountain villages and animated sets has been expanded to include a water scene. Bring the whole family to enjoy the Santa collection, a unique selection of antique trucks and trains, and a wide assortment of decorated trees including one created by the Tilghman Area Youth Association.
Opening on December 3rd, the Christmas at the Museum collection will be on display the first three weekends in December on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The museum will also celebrate “An Island Christmas” on December 17 & 18. Group tours are available by appointment by calling 410-886-1025. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum is in their fourteenth year of celebrating, documenting, preserving and sharing the history, traditions, heritage and culture of Tilghman Island.
