Tree Keepers of Easton, MD, has announced the appointment of Alyssa Marvel of Trappe as Associate Consulting Arborist. In her new role, Marvel will help develop Forest Management Plans, complete Tree Inventories, perform tree assessments, as well as write the blog on the Tree Keepers website (thetreekeepers.com), featuring topics related to tree care and landscaping. Previously, Marvel worked as a Plant Health Care Technician for the Davey Tree Expert Company in Wye Mills MD and for The Care of Trees in Alexandria VA.
Marvel completed an associate’s degree in applied science, Forest Technology from Allegany College of Maryland in Cumberland, MD, and a bachelor of science degree in Forest Resource Management from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, where she received the Most Outstanding Senior Award – for the Forest Resource Management program and for the Davis College Division of Natural Resources. She also served as Secretary of Xi Sigma Pi, an Honorary Forestry Fraternity.
Marvel comments, “I am excited to have the opportunity to work with Tree Keepers. I enjoy working with and caring for trees. Being able to assist clients with proper tree care now, to ensure shade and timber products for future generations, is my motivation.”
