“Turn, Turn, Turn” is Main Street Gallery’s thought-provoking winter exhibition. Gallery artists will be showing work that looks back at a tumultuous year as well as forward to the new year and all it may bring. The exhibit is a response by the gallery’s artists to a 2016 filled with strong emotions brought about by, among other events, a rancorous presidential election. Works will also reflect the challenge to reenergize and deal with an uncertain 2017.
“Turn, Turn, Turn” will open on January 5 and run through February 26. There will be two artist’s receptions on second Saturdays, January 14 and February 11 from 5-8 pm at the gallery on 518 Poplar St. directly across from Jimmie and Sook’s Restaurant in Cambridge. The receptions are free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served. There is parking on the street and in the lot behind the gallery.
The members of Main Street Gallery will dedicate this show to their dear friend and founding member, Nancy South Reybold, who passed away on December 4 at her home in Easton. You can view Nancy’s artwork at: www.nancysouthreybold.com.
