Melissa Wise Slacum & Friends on Sunday, July 16th at 4:00 pm. Melissa is a Cambridge Maryland resident who sings regularly at local events and area churches. She has studied with the legendary well-known vocal pedagogue, Cornelius Reid. Presently Melissa is a music educator with Dorchester County Public Schools. She will be joined by area artists for an afternoon of great music! Come support our local musicians!
Monte Maxwell on Saturday, August 26th at 7:00 pm. Monte serves as the Chapel organist at the United States Naval Academy, where he is the principal organist in addition to working with the Chapel Choirs, the Chorale, Glee Clubs and oversees the Chapel Organ Concert Series. A highly-respected organist, Monte performs concerts and recitals nationally and internationally. We are excited to welcome Monte for a return concert, performing on our restored pipe organ. Monte’s Oxford concerts are always a delight!
