Easton Library to Offer Stitching Time
On Monday, March 16, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer its “Stitching Time” needlecraft program. Patrons are invited to bring in their projects in progress (sewing, knitting, cross-stitch, what-have-you) and sew with a group. Limited instruction will be available for beginners. Library Discussion: “They” by Sue Ellen Thompson
On Monday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, the Easton library’s book group will discuss local Pulitzer Prize-nominated poet Sue Ellen Thompson’s newest book of poetry, “They.” Writing about “They,” author Wally Lamb called Thompson’s verse “probing, plainspokenly poetic, and unflinchingly honest.” Thompson will attend and participate in the discussion. St. Michaels Library to Screen “The Fault in Our Stars”
On Tuesday, March 17, at noon, the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will show the award-winning film The Fault in Our Stars on the library’s large, professional screen. Released last year, this film is rated PG-13. All library programs are free and open to the public. Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program. St. Michaels Book Club to Discuss “The Light Between Oceans”
