The Mid-Shore Community Foundation announces the appointment of six new directors: Ed Allen, Joe Anthony, David DeLuca, Sandy McAllister, Barbara Viniar and Arraminta Ware. The new members have diverse backgrounds and their collective experience and knowledge will be invaluable assets to the Foundation.
Ed Allen is the Chief Financial Officer of Shore United Bank and Shore Bancshares, Inc. Ed resides in Queen Anne’s County and serves as the Vice Chair of Compass Regional Hospice.
Joe Anthony is an experienced CPA in Easton, Maryland. Joe is a returning Board Member and Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committees.
David DeLuca is a longtime Dorchester County resident and is the owner of Delco Packaging Products, Inc. in Hurlock, Maryland. David is actively involved with Habitat for Humanity Choptank and the Dorchester County YMCA.
Sandy McAllister, a returning Board Member and Dorchester County native, is an attorney with McAllister, DeTar, Showalter & Walker. Sandy is an avid lacrosse player and is actively involved in the community.
Barbara Viniar is the President of Chesapeake College and represents the five counties served by the Foundation. Barbara is a returning Board Member and is very active on the Grants Committee.
Arraminta Ware, a Queen Anne’s County Native, is a CPA with Anthony, Judge & Ware in Chestertown, Maryland. Arraminta is a welcome addition to the Board and the Nominating Committee.
