On Tuesday, Sept. 10, Ruth Ann Jones, University of Maryland Shore Regional Health’s recently retired chief nursing officer and senior vice president of Nursing and Patient Care Services, was honored with four proclamations recognizing her more than 45 years of service to the hospital system. Three proclamations, one from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and two from the Maryland General Assembly, were presented by Senator Addie Eckardt and Delegate Johnny Mautz. Assistant Talbot County Manager and Emergency Services Director Clay Stamp and the Talbot County Council also presented Jones with a proclamation.
