by Rick Bisgyer

New Exhibit opens for October at The Trippe Gallery, “A Touch of Sculpture”.  The exhibit features the porcelain sculpture of Rick Bisgyer, a full time ceramic artist whose art is a reflection of life along the Chesapeake Bay. Rick’s work combines wheel thrown forms with sculpted sails as a central motif, inspired by the graceful curves of boats, sails and hulls.  The gallery is pleased to announce the addition of well known Waterfowl Artist Will Hemlsey whose bronze sculptures focusing on Chesapeake birds as well as Chincoteague Ponies, hunting and dog motifs are sought after. Also on exhibit are the sculptures of Eric Tardif featured Artist for the 2018 Waterfowl Festival, bronze equine sculpture by Joan Bennett, Botanical sculpture of Jan Kirsh and metal sculpture of John C. North. Opening reception during First Friday Gallery Walk from 5-8. For more information, please call 410-310-8727 thetrippegallery.com
