On Thursday, June 28, Friday, June 29 and Saturday, June 30, 2012, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., instructor Katie Cassidy will offer a class on “Pastel Underpainting Techniques.” New papers and grounds designed for pastels have opened up many unique and creative techniques for applying an underpainting to pastel paintings. This new workshop is designed to teach a few of these popular methods – oil stains, pastel washes and watercolor underpaintings, even how to make your own textured surfaces with pumice. The cost is $150 for Museum members, and $185 for non-members.

Quick Draw. Generous tips and suggestions for good quick draw subjects and compositions will be given. Mullaly has been juried into Plein Air-Easton! five times and paints weekly with the Plein Air Painters of the Eastern Shore. The cost is $95 for Museum members and $125 for non-members.
