Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, October 2 at 1:00 pm
This is a time when we worship with all the creatures we love. We join the Psalmists and rejoice with all living things. We sing with all the birds and animals that make our lives richer because of their presence. All are welcome!
Kirkin’ of the Tartans
Sunday, October 2 at 9:30 am
We will hold our annual Kirkin’ of the Tartans service. This service is held to honor the role of The Church of Scotland in the founding of The Episcopal Church. Participants in this service will enjoy the piping of Randy Welsh of the St. Andrews Society of the Eastern Shore, we will sing hymns from our Celtic roots, and hold a Blessing of the Tartans. Appropriate to a celebration our heritage; Holy Trinity is introducing a new tradition to this service, Homecoming, a time for friends of Holy Trinity past and present to reunite with their acquaintances and share memories. A special reception will be held immediately following the service. Parishioners are asked to reach out to former members to invite them to join us in celebrating our parish heritage. Consider yourself invited to join us for a morning of fun and remembrances.
