Candleberry Gallery in St. Michaels is welcoming spring with great artwork and gift items by new artists.
Come see beautiful hand-thrown pottery from Susan Burlingame of Grace Creek Ceramics. Her nautical-themed wares make great gifts for Mother’s Day, graduation, and weddings. Enjoy beautiful pastels and unique intricate collages from Laura Kapolchok — and marvel at her Laura Leigh Creations handmade beaded jewelry.
Starting May 15th, John Iampieri will have his beautiful painted screens on display in the upstairs gallery. Painted screens are a unique Maryland tradition originating in Baltimore row houses, where door and window screens were painted with idyllic scenes. These screens prevented those outside the home from seeing in, yet allowed the home’s occupants to see out and benefit from cool breezes. See John’s interesting work and get inspired for an upcoming June workshop where you can learn the art and technique of screen painting from John.

Talbot Street in St. Michaels. We welcome you to come stroll the charming streets of St. Michaels and shop for unique art from renowned local artisans.
