Chesapeake Forum, An Academy for Lifelong Learning, is getting to the end of a successful fall semester offering a choice of live or recorded Zoom courses and webinars. Webinars and course recordings are available for viewing until the end of November. A complete list of Live Zoom courses as well as 13 recorded courses from the Fall Semester can be found at www.chesapeakeforum.org. No membership fee is required.
A ‘Traveler’s Guide to Black Holes’, with Ron Lesher, begins Nov 2, 9 and 16 from 9:30 -11:00 am. In addition, ‘Macbeth: the Scottish Play’ with John Miller and Suzanne Sanders begins Oct 27, Nov 3 and 10 from 10:30 to noon. Live Zoom classes that continue into November, are Wayne Bell’s ‘Birds and Birding’ and Hunter Harris’ ‘Airship 103’.
Any course sessions that were missed can be viewed as recordings to watch later. If signing up for a course that is already in progress, registrants will be sent links to the sessions missed. The videos are available for viewing until Nov 30, 2020. The cost for classes runs from $5 for a 1 session class to $15 for a 3 session class.
