Based on an original drawing by local artist Joanne Buritsch, the 2019 ornament is crafted in 24K gold-plated brass, detailed with enameled Christmas colors. The design shows Santa and Mrs. Claus costumed as they have appeared in the annual weekend celebration’s Christmas parade for the past 21 years, portrayed by local residents Tom and Abby Campi.
This year’s ornament is the 16th in this popular collectible series, with sales helping to support nonprofits serving the Bay Hundred community.
