Maryland DNR-approved Boater Safety courses are taking place at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum on May 20-21, June 10-11, July 15-16 and August 12-13. All ages can participate, with pre-registration needed. The two-evening courses takes place from 6-10 pm., with participants able to receive a Maryland Boating Safety Education Certificate, which is required for anyone born on or after July 1, 1972, and who operates a numbered or documented vessel on Maryland waters.
