The Easton Business Alliance is pleased to announce our Moonlight Madness holiday shopping event on Friday, December 2. Part of the Christmas in Easton weekend, Moonlight Madness brings our businesses together for a family-friendly night of music, refreshments, in-store activities, and more!
Moonlight Madness will bring festive Christmas cheer to the streets and businesses of downtown Easton. Local shops are running demonstrations and specials and keeping their doors open late throughout the event.
“Moonlight Madness is a great opportunity for our surrounding community to get in the holiday spirit and celebrate at our downtown merchants,” said Easton Business Alliance manager Ross Benincasa. “There will be free refreshments, giveaways, music throughout the night, and pictures with Santa for the whole family. It’s a fantastic way to kick off the holiday season and Christmas in Easton weekend.”
The event will be highlighted by three, $1,500 raffles at 9 pm in front of the Tidewater Inn on Harrison Street. Each raffle basket will contain gift cards, art, and dining experiences from Easton boutiques, galleries, and restaurants.
In addition to the raffle, DJ Matt Spence will be playing Christmas music throughout the town from 4-9 p.m. Pictures with Santa will be available for the whole family at the Bullitt House, on the corner of Dover Street and Harrison Street, and carolers and refreshments will be available throughout the Town.
To earn raffle tickets, shop at participating Easton retailers and galleries from now through December 2. Tickets are given away based on the amount of each purchase, and customers can earn up to 10 tickets from a single checkout! Participating retailers are identified by a poster near their storefront or cash register.
Moonlight Madness is part of Christmas in Easton weekend. In addition to Moonlight Madness, our annual Pictures with Santa will also take place on Friday evening. On Saturday, December 3, we invite the Mid-Shore out to Thompson Park for the Christmas tree lighting at 6 p.m., followed immediately by the Olde Tyme Holiday Parade through the downtown business district. The holiday horse-drawn carriage rides will depart for the first trip of the year on Saturday, December 3 at 2 pm from the Tidewater Inn. Finally, have Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 4 in the Crystal Room at the Tidewater Inn.
