The Easton, MD, CMT Support and Action Group will celebrate Charcot-Marie-Tooth disorder Awareness Month by welcoming two special guests to its September 7 meeting: Jeana Sweeney, Director of Community Services for the CMTA, and Dirck Bartlett, President of the Talbot County Council. Bartlett will present to the group a proclamation from the Talbot County Council designating September as CMT Awareness Month in Talbot County. Sweeney will share with the group a range of topics from raising awareness of CMT throughout the country to being the mother of a child with CMT to the good news about the research spearheaded by the CMTA. Please plan to be at the Talbot County Free Library, 100 Dover Street, Easton, 10 AM until Noon on September 7.
