Election 2022 Footnote: TIP Releases Documentation of its 503(c)4 Application

At the request of several Talbot Spy readers, the newspaper editor asked and received documentation from the Talbot Integrity Project (TIP) that they had submitted its application by the IRS as a 501(c)4 organization. This allows TIP to legally contribute to political candidates; federal, state, or local.

Dan Watson, asking treasurer, submitted the following application for review.

The Spy Newspapers may periodically employ the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the clarity and accuracy of our content.

    Those questioning TIP’s organizational status simply are showing their fear of having the truth about the Lakeside story being told. This is a typical Trump-like last minute scare strategy. TIP has the supporters of pro runaway-uncontrolled development candidates, especially those from Trappe, worried.

    Protect the preservation of the rural nature and character of Talbot County by supporting the Talbot Integrity Project and its agenda for preserving the quality of our County.
