Tuesday October 4 is the date for the 25th annual Estate Treasures fashion show. The theme of this year’s fashion show is Stunning in Silver, a tribute to the upscale resale shop’s 25 years of providing financial support for Compass Regional Hospice.
The fashion show moves to a new venue this year. Doors open at 11:00 am at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville. Guests will enjoy a cash bar and shopping at the boutique, which features some of the finest women’s clothing and fashion accessories sold at Estate Treasures.
Other fun planned for fashion show guests include door prizes, raffles, a silent auction and a bake sale.
An elegant sit-down lunch will be served at noon. The meal begins with vegetable egg rolls and assorted bruschetta followed by a house salad. The main course is Chicken Capri with herb roasted potatoes and vegetable medley. Dessert is mixed berry trifle.
Following lunch Estate Treasures volunteers and Compass Regional Hospice staff will model fashions that reflect the Stunning in Silver theme of the 25th anniversary celebration.
“The models will sparkle in outfits suitable for all occasions, including casual outfits, evening wear, and a collection of coats, capes and sweaters,” says Wende Woodham, one of the Estate Treasures volunteer who is dressing the fashion show models. “Our models are women of all shapes, sizes and age. We are choosing clothing and accessories that will show how the right outfit flatters the figure and personality of a woman.”
Tickets for the Estate Treasures Fashion Show are $35 per guest. To purchase individual tickets and to reserve space for a group, contact Kenda Leager at Compass Regional Hospice, 443-262-4106, [email protected].
