Music & dancing, iPad raffle, food stations & bar, and silent auction, featuring new iTouch automated bidding devices… Join us for a dynamic event to support faculty, students and programs on Saturday, April 14th, at 6:00 p.m. in The Gunston School Field House.
The Gunston School’s 19th Annual Spring Auction boasts a new format with exciting evening events. The theme, Farm to Fork: Gunston Celebrates Local Living, will feature menu choices representing local efforts toward sustainable farming practices. With a DJ fueling the momentum of the night, wear your dancing shoes and come prepared to shop!
This year, the auction will be driven electronically on iTouch devices, distributed to each couple at check in. You can enter a maximum bid for each item (just like eBay), and you will be notified immediately when you have been outbid. Auction items will range from wine bottles and gift certificates to vacation getaways, themed packages, and more. A leaderboard will display real-time results, so that you can see current bids on all of the auction items. The result—a fun, interactive, social event that allows you to keep a watchful eye on your items while mingling with friends and enjoying the evening. Attire is casual elegant; denim is welcome.
Visit www.gunston.org to purchase tickets, view auction items and corporate sponsorship packages, and learn about all of the exciting changes to this year’s event. You may also call Gunston’s Director of Communications Meredith Nosher at 410.758.0620 x109.
We encourage the community to attend this dynamic evening where great food, drinks, music, dancing, and friendly competition combine to create an invaluable fundraising experience at Gunston. If you are unable to attend, proxy bidding is available.
