“Heart & Music” presented by the “Behavioral Health and Rape Crisis Center at For All Seasons, Inc.” enters it’s fifth year of amazing talent, performing the best memories of the past four years enriched by new songs and music for this fifth anniversary production, March 26-29.
Over the last four years, “Heart & Music” sent you to the bright lights of NYC in the Broadway Revue and took you back in time with the popular songs from the 60’s and 70’s. The third year offered audiences an evening in NY with songs from, in, of, around New York and by New Yorkers, and last year featured music to make you sing, smile, dance and inspire.
Year five is an exciting culmination, taking audiences from the 60’s to Broadway, and all around New York with new songs and music to inspire you to sing, dance and smile. Don’t miss hearing favorite songs from the past, new music and the continued excellence in Catering by Occasions for the Opening Night Gala Fundraising event on Thursday, March 26.
Director Ed Langrell and Music Director, Amy Morgan are selecting the best of the past adding a fabulous new future of songs and styles to create an amazing production performed by the talented cast of “Heart & Music” including Gail Aveson, Ellen Barry Grunden, Jane Copple, Katie Cox, Marcia Gilliam, Bill Gross, Beth Anne Langrell, Ed Langrell, Lisa Roth, Heather Scott, John Swann, Karen Twigg, Joe Tyler, and Ricky Vitanovec. The orchestra consists of Amy Morgan on keyboards, Brian Robinson on bass, Bill Gross on guitar, and percussion by Shelby Clendaniel. Production crew is led by stage manager Sally Woodall, choreography by Annie Pokrywka, lighting by Amber Vitanovec and Brooke Christensen, Sets by john Swann and Jesse Capps, and sound by Michael LeCates from Mid South Audio.
Experience toe-tapping fun, dancing, and fabulous music that will entertain the young and the young at heart including songs from The Four Seasons, Pink, the Dixie Chicks and more. Music from popular musicals including, Company, Godspell, Mamma Mia!, and Next To Normal.
Inspiring true stories from clinicians, family members, and clients that have been assisted by the services of FAS will be interspersed throughout the singing and dancing. These stories stress the importance of the assistance offered in the five counties by FAS. The mission of the Behavioral Health and Rape Crisis Center at For All Seasons, Inc. (FAS) is the provision of affordable, easily accessible mental health services for individuals, families and groups in our Mid-Shore community.
The Fifth annual “Heart and Music: The Best of and More” opens with a Gala Fundraiser on March 26 at 6:00 pm, tickets are $100. Regular price performances, $20 adults and $5 students’ K-12, are Friday & Saturday, March 27 & 28 at 8pm, and Sunday, March 29 at 2pm. All shows are at the Oxford Community Center.
