The Historical Society of Talbot County will present, “Talbot County History 101” Thursday, January 5 from 5 to 7 PM. The discussion is part of their Food for Thought Series, geared toward working professionals, independent amateur historians and new residents of Talbot County looking to meet new people while learning about the community.
Several HSTC volunteers and staff will be on hand to mingle and informally discuss a variety of topics including but not limited to the railroad, hunting, African American history, and business history. Attendees will be able to spend time learning from the two exhibits: History of Talbot County and Neavitt: Chesapeake Charm.
Wine and cheese will be served.
