On Sunday, June 2, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Oxford had its annual “Hat Sunday”. In 2011 we had so much fun wearing our millinery in celebration of the Royal Wedding that we decided to have a Hat Sunday each year just for fun! So, each year we encourage parishioners to wear a hat for fun, for fashion, and to recognize the British roots of our church. For inspiration we look to the Royal Family and our cousins across the pond. (see the group photo). At our fellowship hour after the service, members of the vestry explained their individual roles, reported on our current programs and progress toward goals and invited the participation of all attendees to join in our activities.
