I write in support of Phil Foster for Judge on the Orphans Court. He is the only candidate running who is a lawyer. It would seem that this qualification would be a requirement. It is the primary reason he will have my vote and hopefully that of other citizens in Talbot County.
Party should not be an issue in local elections; qualifications are what is important. In addition to his legal qualifications, Phil’s experience in Talbot County and at the State level makes him worthy to be a judge. He has been a member of the County Council for twelve years, was a delegate for the Maryland House of Delegates for two years, and was in the State’s Attorney’s office for more than 14 years between 1975 and 1989.
Public service has continued beyond his employment. He has been devoted as a soccer coach in Talbot County for 27 years.
Public service is in Phil’s blood. Your vote will allow him to continue to serve the citizens of Talbot County. Early voting begins on Thursday, October 25 at the Easton Fire House between 10 am and 8 pm, and runs through November 1. Election day at your polling place is Tuesday, November 6. Please consider a vote for Phil Foster.
