Oxford Day is a one-day family-oriented celebration of life in a small waterfront town on the Eastern Shore. This year marks the 25th anniversary for the Event. Those who have experienced it know that the town is filled with community spirit, families, and fun.
The main attraction of the day is a parade that runs right through the main street of the town. It is reminiscent of a different era with local marching bands, home grown floats, fire trucks, local beauty queens, and classic cars. Enjoy numerous other activities all day long, such as a dog show, family hour with games and prizes for young children, great live music, lots of delicious food, skipjack and ferry rides, world famous ice cream, flower sales and more.
This year Oxford Day will be held on April 27th, rain or shine. The activities will run from 8am-3pm, with the parade starting at 11am. Come early for the best parking spots! For more information and specific time details, please visit www.Oxfordday.org or www.facebook.com/OxfordDayMD.
