Pet Pantries will hold its “Diamonds in the Ruff” event on Thursday, November 21 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Shearer the Jeweler, 22 North Washington Street in Easton. The event will raise funds to continue the work that Pet Pantries does to keep the pet food pantries filled at the Humane Organizations in Caroline, Dorchester, and Talbot County.
Animal shelters in these three counties are facing a 70% budget cut. With a simple donation today these animals will be able to stay in their homes and never go hungry again.
Pet Pantries has distributed more than 7000 this year and has set a goal for 2014 to distribute 20,000 pounds (TEN TONS!!) of food to the three shelters it supports. You can save thousands of pets just by making a contribution and win a fabulous prize for doing it. Please help us.
“We are grateful to Shearer the Jeweler for hosting this event and for donating the beautiful diamond earrings that will be the grand prize in the drawings for this event,” said Pet Pantries President Barbara Mulready. “Other prizes include a 2-night stay in a 4-bedroom house at a lake front golf course in Cape Charles, Virginia; six grooming sessions at Eileen’s Pampered Pets; and an original dog print by Rick Kollinger. “
Everyone who makes a contribution of $25 or more to Pet Pantries for this event may choose to be entered into a drawing for one of the items. Online donations may be made by visiting www.petpantries.org.
All contributors are invited to the Gala Drawing at Shearer the Jeweler on November 21st for Champagne and hors d’oeuvres. It is not necessary to be present to win, however.
The money raised at “Diamonds in the Ruff” will make a significant contribution to the effort.
