The Historical Society of Talbot County will hold a reception for the Ruth Starr Rose fresco mural “And the Pharoh’s Army got Drownded,” on Thursday, August 11 at 6pm.
Restoration on the fresco was recently completed by Ken Elliott. He will give a brief presentation on the work he did, and some background on the artist, Ruth Starr Rose. After its current exhibit at the museum, the fresco will return home to the St. Matthews Church in Longwoods.
