SpyCam: Van Hollen Visits the Shore with Maryland Primary Election Closing In

March 28, 2016 by The Spy

Share

It might take some time to remember the last primary election in Maryland that had any significance over the last few decades but 2016 is turning out to be one of the more special political moments for the state.

It seems quite likely that on a national level, Maryland will play an important role in the delegate count for the Republican nomination, but it will also include a U.S.Senate vote between Reps. Donna F. Edwards and Chris Van Hollen to secure the seat being vacated by retiring Senator Barbara Mikulski.

The Spy was reminded of this by finding Van Hollen on the Eastern Shore this weekend. We caught a few moments with him on the stump in Chestertown last Saturday.

This video is approximately two minutes in length
