Considering what happened to Obama’s nomination, which was not as close to a national election as this one, ABSOLUTELY NOT. It is a lifetime appointment, and while I understand the politics, I would have the same position on any effort this close to an election.

Ironically, judges are prone to decide with legal precedent guiding them. Mr McConnell set a precedent when he refused to even consider a candidate with more than seven months remaining in President Obama’s, arguing the electorate should, by its choice in the 2016 election presidential election. With voting already underway in the 2020 election, Mr McConnell has determined precedent should not guide his actions.

This President and his Senate do not represent, “The will of the people”. This appointment should be made by the President elected on Nov 2nd. They should all be voted out and replaced by Democrats. What hypocrisy.
