Halloween Crafts at Easton Library

On Monday, October 28, from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m., the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library will offer a program of Halloween Crafts for children of all ages.  All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons are asked to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.

Then & Now Photographs of “The Bay From Above” at Easton Library

On Monday, October 28, at 6:30 p.m., in the Easton branch of the Talbot County Free Library, Hunter H. Harris of Aerial Aloft Photography will talk about his exhibit on display in the library’s meeting room that contrasts aerial photographs of the Chesapeake Bay taken by H. Robins Hollyday in the 1930s with photographs taken by Harris himself in recent years.  “The Bay From Above” exhibit is on loan from the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.  All library programs are free and open to the public.  Hollyday’s photographs were made available for this exhibit through the courtesy of the Historical Society of Talbot County.  Patrons do not need to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.

St. Michaels Library to Stage “Teeny Tiny Woman” Puppet Show

On Tuesday, October 29, at 4:00 p.m., the St. Michaels branch of the Talbot County Free Library will put on a puppet show entitled “Teeny Tiny Woman” for children of all ages.  A production the library’s own Miss Carla, this puppet show is based upon the book by Jane O’Connor.  All library programs are free and open to the public, but patrons are asked to pre-register for this program.  For more information, call the library at 410-745-5877, or visit www.tcfl.org.
