Easton – On July 20, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Andrew Matthew Deibel, 21 of Bridgeville, DE for theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Deputies were advised by the vehicle owner, Susanna Arlene Deibel of Easton, MD that her son had taken her blue Ford van without her permission. Deputies observed Deibel operating the vehicle on Matthewstown Road, stopping the vehicle on the Sunoco parking lot. Deibel was taken into custody and charged. Deibel was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on his personal recognizance.
Easton – On July 22, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office were called to the intersection of Kingston Road and Mullet Branch Road for debris in the roadway. Upon arrival, the Deputy noted corn stalks in the roadway from a nearby farm and the roadway sign lying on its side damaged. The Deputy observed two juveniles in the area and through investigation charged a 15 year old male from Cordova, MD and a 14 year old male from Easton, MD with malicious destruction of property. Both juveniles were released into the custody of their parents.
Easton – On July 22, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motor vehicle on Dover Neck Road for speeding. The Deputy noted the driver of the vehicle switched positions in the vehicle as the Deputy was approaching. The driver was identified as, Jaclyn Rae Trujillo, 18 of Easton, MD. It was later determined Trujillo had a suspended driving privilege and had taken the vehicle without the owner’s permission. Trujillo was charged with driving on a suspended license, attempt by driver to elude uniformed police, driving motor vehicle without owner’s consent, failure to display license on demand and speeding. Trujillo was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on her personal recognizance.
