On Monday, July 30, in both the St. Michaels and Easton branches, the Talbot County Free Library’s popular adult summer reading bingo game will once more be up and running. Patrons score points on a bingo-like card based upon their summer reading habits. Each time they fill in a diagonal, they can turn in their card for a chance to win one of the great weekly prizes donated by local merchants. Each card turned in increases the patron’s chances of winning one of the game’s end-of-summer grand prizes.
Sabine Simonson, the library’s Outreach Services/Volunteer Coordinator, told The Star that a grand prize winner in Easton, and a second in St. Michaels, will be awarded “Staycations” in one of our area’s award-winning hostelries. Each of these “Staycation” prizes will include a full package of free vacation amenities. All of these prizes were made possible by the generosity of local Talbot County merchants.
All library programs are free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 410-822-1626, or visit www.tcfl.org.
