This Talbot Historical Society H. Robins Hollyday Collection photo was scanned from a glass plate negative that dates back to the 1930’s! But that type of roller skates was definitely around in the 1950’s because I had a pair! They fastened onto the soles of your shoes and actually stayed on!! So fun!
