This Dover Street Music Hall/ Market Space building was completed in 1879 to the south of the Talbot County Courthouse in Easton, Maryland. A six hundred seat auditorium for music performances was built on the second floor and several music rooms were on the third floor. Wish it still looked this way but in 1939-1940 it was given a more colonial look to house the Talbot County Library. Now it is the south wing of the Court House! Facts: “Easton Album” by Norman Harrington 1983. Postcard donated to the Talbot Historical Society by Pete Lesher.
