Talbot Historical Society Project Rewind: Spending Idle Time at Idlewild Park

April 10, 2020 by Talbot Historical Society

Share

Local aviator Malcolm Hathaway was flying very low for photographer H. Robins Hollyday to capture this amazing photo of Easton, Maryland looking north east! The image gives a perfect view of South Washington Street, Easton High School at what is now Idlewild Park, and the newly built homes on South Aurora Street! Lots of open spaces back then! Talbot Historical Society H. Robins Hollyday H&H Aerial Photography Co. Collection image from a c. 1929-1935 glass plate negative. Contact: Cathy Hill [email protected] to share your old photos.
