South Washington Street Easton, Maryland as it appeared in the 1950’s and 1960’s! The building in the foreground to the left is the Talbot Historical Society and the visible porch next door to it was part of a home that was demolished to create the town parking lot that now stretches from Washington Street to West Street. This Talbot Historical Society H. Robins Hollyday Collection photo clearly shows the Samis & Bray Store and Easton’s second movie theatre! Bet lots of sports equipment was bought at Samis & Bray at Christmas time!
