We had so much ice on our Talbot County rivers in the 1970’s! A special thanks to Elizabeth Swaine for sharing her many wonderful family photos with the Talbot Historical Society, including this one of Ice Boats getting for a race on the frozen Miles River in 1977. The photo was taken in front of the Miles River Yacht Club in St. Michaels, Maryland.
